Patriot’s day is celebrated to mark the remembrance of the battles between Lexington and Concord on April 19, 1775. This represents the two earliest battles in the American revolutionary war. It was the major step in the independence of the United States.
Patriot’s day is always celebrated on the third Monday in April. The major event that holds during patriot’s day is the Boston Marathon. This is the oldest continuous annual marathon in the world, also in Maine patriot’s day.
