Patriot’s Day is an annual event that may take place on different days of the year. In Maine, this is called as Patriots’ Day and they are actually the first state that started to celebrate this. It has been said that this is celebrated in order to commemorate the Battle of Lexington and Concord.

Patriot’s Day is an annual event that may take place on different days of the year. In Maine,
This was first proclaimed in the year 1894 in order to replace Fast Day as a public holiday. There are still many states that are not celebrating this but for those who are celebrating this, it is considered to be a time for people to take a break from work and just join in the festivities and even the marathon that happens on this day.
