Some people may become confused with Patriot’s Day and Patriot Day. These are not the same. Patriot’s Day is celebrated in certain states particularly in Massachusetts and in Maine. This is held annually every third Monday of April. It allows people to take a day off from work and just become part of the festivities.
This is said to have been started in order to replace “Fast Day” which was still significant during the war. This event celebrates the effort that the American ancestors did in order t fight for their rights to become free. Take note that this is not a national holiday in some of the states in America although they may recognize it.
