The thing that causes Hypoxia the most is the failure in respiration or when some certain medical conditions get worsened. It also is caused by high altitude sickness due to the environment Ischemia is most likely caused by spasms or clots of blood vessels.
When Hypoxia occurs, oxygen becomes limited; but in the occurrence of Ischemia, oxygen, together with all nutrients that are carried usually by the supply of blood, becomes limited. To text for Hypoxia, the oxygen saturation is checked with the use of pulse oximeter, after which CT scans and X-rays are used. In texting for Ischemia, a physical examination is done together with CT scans and X-rays. You can treat Hypoxia by introducing extra supplemental oxygen; while Ischemia can be treated by medication like clot-busting drugs.

The main difference between hypoxia and Ischemia is that hypoxia occurs when the body is deprived of oxygen, which causes a limitation of oxygen and glucose essential for metabolism. The causes of hypoxia can be the altitude where oxygen concentration of the air is low, breathing mixtures of gas with a low oxygen concentration. Problems with the circulatory system cause ischemia.
Hypoxia damage can be fatal because of high altitude pulmonary edema and high altitude. It may also cause preterm birth complications. Hypoxia can be turned around when the oxygen supply is restored. It is feasible to reverse Ischemia the blood supply is regenerated.

There are two conditions or diseases that result from a lack of oxygen to the body. These are known as hypoxia and ischemia. Hypoxia is the condition where the oxygen is not being supplied to the rest of the body or to a certain area of the body.
Ischemia is the condition that has to do with the circulation system. Since blood carries oxygen too to the other parts of the body, the lack of oxygen in the bloodstream or the trouble it has carrying it to the other parts of the body can cause ischemia.
