Millennials and Gen Z are two different generations of which most that fall into the categories are young adults. Most companies usually run the same campaign ad when they want to reach these two different categories of people because they have many similarities.

They are generations that deal with technology and the internet. According to some researches made by the Pew, those in the millennial generation are considered to be born between the years 1981 and 1996, while those that fall into the Gen Z (the Gen Zers) are considered to be born between the years 1997 and 2012.

Hence, those that belong to the millennial generation are between the age of 22 and 38 years old, while the Gen Zers fall between the age of 6 and 21 years old. This further explained to us that those that belong to the millennial generation are most likely settled in a marital relationship, and making big purchases, while most of those that belong to the Gen Z generations are typically in schools.

The main difference between millennials and Gen z is that millennials include people born around the 1980s and 1990s, while generation z includes people being born during the mid -90's and mid-2000s. Generation z is also branded as generation y. Millennials are the demographic unit which follows Generation X. They are the final generation to be born in the 20th century.

A lot of people use the terms Gen Z and Millennials incorrectly. Millennials are actually people who have reached adulthood by the year 2000. Those who are part of Gen Z are younger. They are the generation that follows millennials. Most people refer to millennials now as the teenagers that can be seen in various social media websites when actually, these people are already part of Gen Z.

Those who are born 1995 and older are already considered to be part of Gen Z, while those who are born up to 1994 are millennials. These two generations have some differences in terms of the way that they think and how they cope with life. Younger people might expect that everything will be instant, unlike millennials, who still know the value of hard work and perseverance.

When describing groups of people based on the time when they were born, people have a common name for them. For instance, the group of people who were born right after World War II is commonly known as baby boomers. There are other terms too to describe people, and when they were born. Gen Z and millennials are two terms that both refer to a young group of people.

However, the time frame for both of these two groups is different. Millennials were born earlier than the Gen Z generation. Gen Z generation people were both usually between 1995 and 2012 and the millennials are born between 1980 and 1994. Both groups may have listened to different types of music.
