Among several guitar making companies like Gretsch, Ibanez, ESP, and others, Gibson and Fender have been considered to be the ones topping the list. There are also several arguments as which of these companies is actually the best. Fender guitars have the treble-y bell tone. The fender’s tone is kind of bright, and it gives the 60-cycle hum. The fender wood with which it is made from also makes the body to be light, which is of 4 to 5 pounds of weight. Gibson, however, is made from the mahogany tree. Due to the dense in the wooden material used in making the guitar, it makes the Gibson guitar’s tone to be kind of dark and warm.
