Nexus and Global Entry Program are two examples of customs and border protection programs which are aimed at monitoring the activities of the migrants at the border. In terms of services, both can be regarded to be the same, but there are some differences between them. Nexus program is the United States custom and border protection program. This program is meant to give the pre-approved traveler speedy and swift access into the United States and Canada without being delayed unnecessarily.

Since the two countries are involved, this program is being run by the customs services of the two countries. Global Entry program, on the other hand, is also a custom and boarder protection program which enables travelers that have been properly screened to enter into the United States. While Nexus entry program is being run by two countries, the global entry program is a program being run by the United States customs and boarder protection agency.
