Poly Solar Panels and Mono Solar Panels are two types of crystal solar panels. There are some differences between the two. Each cell in a mono solar panel is made up of one piece of silicon crystal. Mono solar panels are made from molten silicon. Poly Solar panels, on the other hand, are made from liquid silicon, and the liquid silicon is placed into different blocks which are then cut into different plates. When both types of silicon become solidified, they turn into different crystals.

Mono solar cells are always black in color, whereas poly Solar cells can either be light blue or dark blue in color. In terms of efficiency, mono solar panels are more efficient than Solar poly panels. The percentage of efficiency of mono solar panels is in the range of 13 to 17 percent, while the percentage of efficiency of Solar poly panels is in the range of 10 to 14 percent.
