Hybrid seeds are created when two parent plants of the species that are genetically different are crossbred to form an entirely new plant. These genetic materials from both parent plants come together to form hybrid seeds. Hybrid seeds are important because they have more genetic properties that come from both parent plants. These properties will make the new plant to adapt and possess various genetic combinations of the individual parent plant. If one of the parent plants can resist extreme bad weather condition, the new plant will also have the same property.

GM Seeds, on the other hand, are created by joining together genes of organisms of the same or different species. The new organism formed from this process is called a transgenic organism. This process involves the use of technology rather than the natural way of reproduction, and the process is completely expensive because it requires the use of expensive equipment and techniques.
