Android and Meego are both mobile operating system. A mobile operating system can be defined as system software that is responsible for the management of mobile devices hardware and software resources and provides common services for all programs. Android is a mobile operating system developed by Google, and it is a modified version of Linux kernel. Android is an older operating system that has been tested over the years by many phone manufacturers.
