Senators and Representatives are both politicians, but there are many differences between them. While they are both a part of Congress, they make up two different chambers. Senators are a part of the Senate, while Representatives are a part of the House of Representatives. Another difference is how many Senators and Representatives each state has.

Each state has two Senators. The number of Representatives each state has will vary by country and the size of the country. Larger states like California and Texas will have more representatives than smaller states. They also have different functions. For example, Representatives initiate impeachment, while the Senate decides on it.

Many politicians want to become senators or representatives eventually. This is because they want to be able to make laws for their constituents. Congress is this group of people who represent their area around the country where they came from. They represent these groups of people who live in that area. Congress is divided into two sides. One side is called the House of Representatives.

These representatives represent their state, and the number of representatives in the House depends on the population of the state. The higher the population, the more representatives come from that state. There are 435 representatives. In the Senate, two senators are elected from each state. Therefore, 100 senators represent the 50 states in the United States.
