Sometimes, someone might be feeling uneasiness or pain in the stomach. Some take this seriously as they are so concerned about it, while others may not make it seriously but neglect it. But it’s better to be concerned then to neglect it because this might be due to the excess gastric production in the stomach, and which if not taken care of can lead to ulceration or even internal bleeding. Though, this gastric juice is essential for the stomach as the acid helps to kill the microorganisms that are being in-taken with food and also to liquefy the food for easier digestion, but should also be controlled to avoid too much acidity in the stomach.

The two common medications that the physicians recommend to control this are Nexium and AcipHex. They seem to perform the same functions, but they have their differences. Nexium happens to be the brand name of Esomeprazole, while Aciphex is the brand name for Rabeprazole. Nexium is recommended to provide relief for high acidic production and gastric upsets, and it works slower and longer. On the other hand, Aciphex is prescribed to prevent ulceration and relief gastric upsets, and it works faster and for the short term.
