Satyrs are portrayed to be half man and half goat, while fawns are said to be half man and half deer. Fawns have more grace, poise, and delicacy than Satyrs. Satyrs evolved from ancient Greek literature, and are known to have more significant sex drives than fawns. Fawns are said to be more intelligent than satyrs and are considered to be geniuses, gifted, and wise while satyrs are usually depicted as being foolish, gullible, roughish, mischievous, and poorly behaved.

Fauns have feet that resemble humans, whereas Satyr's have hoofs that look a lot like a goat's. Fawns inhabitant deep in the forest, while Satyr's follow Bacchus, who is the wine god.
