Humanities and social sciences are two subjects that are studied. Most people study these subjects either in high school or college. They both deal with aspects of humans, such as economics, law, and politics.

These branches of study are closely related to one another, because social science is a study that is in between humanities and natural science. The main difference between the studies is the approach of them.

Humanities takes an approach that is more analytical and critical. Social studies takes an approach that is more focused in science. Examples of social science is political science and history. An example of humanities is philosophy.

Humanities and social sciences are two types of subjects that can be studied. Most people who study these subjects do so in higher education, such as college. They both focus on different elements like psychology, economics, law, and politics.

One of the key differences between the two is the approach to both of the studies. Humanities have a more critical approach. Social sciences have an approach that focuses more on the scientific method.

The study of humanities encompasses human beings and their cultures, involving physical and biological sciences. The humanities also include the review of languages, literature, the arts, history, and philosophy. This course of study is included in the curriculum in schools, colleges, and universities.

The study of humanities begins with the mid-5th century and consists of the present day and involves humanity's cultural advancement. Social science includes psychology, political science, history, anthropology, and sociology; however, there is also archaeology, geography, law, education, and criminal justice.

The social sciences help us understand how society works, economic growth, and human behavior going back to ancient Greece to the current and future of social sciences. Social science focuses on society's advancement through invention, work, and economic growth and is not as culturally involved as Humanities.

The subjects that depend on the student’s intellectual ability rather than occupational potential are called humanities. This study also includes languages, literature, religion, philosophy, and the visual and performing arts. The subjects that fall under the branch of humanities are not sciences.

However, these subjects call upon the human or social criteria that science employs. Over time, humanities have evolved to include music, visual arts, and theater. On the other hand, social sciences include subjects that are close to both human lives and natural sciences. Subjects like law, political science, history, education, psychology, and economics all fall under the branch of social sciences.

The study of politics refers to social sciences. The subjects that are studied in social science encompass the relationship between human society and nature. These subjects deal with a specific kind of knowledge that requires thorough examination.
