The word confirm is an adjective that tells that one who conforms has a desire to be similar or fall in line with the ‘norm.’ The word confirm means to make sure of something, while conforming means to follow others or to concede to rules and regulations. Conform may also be used to refer to a person’s behavior. It could mean acting in a manner that is accepted or embraced by society.
