Organic products are those that are grown without the use of any pesticides and other fertilizers that are considered to be synthetic by nature. non-GMO refers to products that have undergone certain testing and have been grown depending on the standards that have been set by the organization. Organic products are known to be productive and other ingredients that were grown without the need to use pesticides or other synthetic fertilizers. When the product is labeled as organic, this means that it has never been exposed to GMO as well. GMO means Genetically Modified Organism.

Some products that are labeled as non-GMO means that it does not have GMO, but there is a possibility that it has been exposed to pesticides or fertilizers because it is not labeled as organic. There are some obvious differences between the two with regards to what the product has been exposed to, but it is evident that they follow a similar standard before their products can be made available to people.
