What is the difference between Nikon D5000 and Nikon D5100?

There are a lot of people who just love different types of cameras. This time, we are going to discuss briefly the difference between the D5100 and the D5000. The D5000 is known to be an entry-level DSLR but this is known to be an upper-entry level DSLR.

This means that it comes with a lot of features as compared to the basic entry-level DSLRs. The D5100 is the updated version of the D5000. The Nikon D5000 is known to be an upper entry-level DSLR when it was first released in the market. This was released in the year 2009 and it had a 12.9-megapixel format. Its features are very similar to the D90 which is also another camera produced by Nikon. The D5100 is known to be an updated version of the D5000 because this comes with 16.1 megapixels in camera resolution.

They both come with the APS-C sensor which is considered to be very important back then. These cameras were released years ago but there are still some people who prefer using DSLR cameras as compared to the smaller and more compact mirrorless cameras that are available right now.
