Sometimes, people tend to experience symptoms that could be a stomach flu or a gall bladder attack. They could be taking wrong medications as these two might show similar symptoms and people would assume it is a stomach flu or vice versa when actually it is not. Stomach flu is also called gastroenteritis is caused by eating contaminated food and may cause pain in the stomach area, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea.

Lymph glands would also swell and the person who suffers stomach flu could experience fever and dehydration. A gall bladder attack, on the other hand, is experienced when gall bladder stones obstruct the flow of bile. A person who has this attack may suffer pain in the right chest and shoulder blade. Nausea is also experienced but only felt after eating a fatty meal.
