Hanukkah and Christmas are two types of religious festivals that symbolize the celebration of some religious events that happened in the past. Hanukkah is a form of the festival celebrated by the Jews, while Christmas is one of the most famous religious festivals in the world, particularly among Christians. Hanukkah is also known as the festival of lights, and the translation of the Jewish word is dedication. This is just a festival celebrated in remembrance of the day the second temple in Jerusalem was rebuilt, and it also coincides with the time Jerusalem lost its control over Maccabean Jews.
