There is no significant difference between Podiatrist and Chiropodist. Both are terms used to refer to a medical practitioner who specializes in the diagnosis and the treatment of foot ailments. Both Podiatrist and chiropodist are medical names with a lot of similarities than whatever anyone might want to use as their difference. However, the significant difference between them is that Podiatrist is mostly used for a medical practitioner who specializes in the diagnosis and the treatment of foot ailments.

Pediatric medicine as a branch of medicine that is concerned with the treatment of diseases of the feet requires more skills and a higher level of education. Although both terms are used for the same thing, pediatric medicine is highly regarded compared to chiropody.
