There is no significant difference BE and B Tech Degree. BE is the short form of Bachelor Of Engineering, while B Tech is the short form of Bachelor Of Technology. Both Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology are awarded you receive after studying the two programs for the period of 4 years. Apart from the difference in their name, other differences are not really important but they can still be used to differentiate the two. Bachelor of Engineering is a program that offers you the opportunity to go into different areas of engineering field.

The program is more of theory than practical. Students studying this course have more knowledge about the practical aspect of engineering. The Bachelor of Technology program, on the other hand, offers the same opportunity as a bachelor of engineering, but it is a practical oriented course. This doesn't mean bachelor of engineering program is only on theory, it also offers little practical.
