Roxicet and Roxicodone are both painkillers. They are not over the counter, and a doctor must prescribe them to their patient. Normally, they are prescribed to those who suffer from an injury or surgery. Both Roxicet and Roxicodone are taken orally, and they are strong.

One difference between them is that Roxicodone is more addictive. This is why it should not be taken sooner than every three hours because the patient could grow an addiction to the medication. Another difference between them is that Roxicet is more harmful to the liver, due to some of the ingredients it has in it.

Roxicodone is an extended-release form of oxycodone, and it is for the around the clock treatment of pain. It is very comparable to morphine, codeine, and hydrocodone. The significant difference on the body is Roxicet's ability to increase its effects because of the drug synergy.

Both Roxicet and Roxicodone are two different kinds of painkillers that the doctor may prescribe to you if you are suffering pain usually after an injury or surgical procedure. They both have many similarities between them including that they are both strong and relieve major pain. They are taken by mouth. These drugs should not be taken sooner than every three hours.

If you have a low tolerance to pain, then these medications are great for that type of people. These two medications do also have some differences including that Roxicodone is more addictive than Roxicet. Roxicet can also hurt the liver. Each contains the same ingredients except for two ingredients. Oxycodone is in Roxicodone and acetaminophen is in Roxicet.
