The school systems in different parts of the world will always vary. Two of the systems that are usually compared are the American and Japanese school systems. There are fewer days off for the Japanese school system as compared to the American school system. The lunch that will be eaten in school is uniform for the Japanese and the lunch is prepared by a chef.

The students are expected to eat the same thing. In America, there are different food options so the students can choose what they want to eat. In Japan, there are entrance exams that are required to ensure that students will be able to cope with the learning system. This is not a requirement in America.
