What is the difference between Crystal and Grain?

The cells that make up the grains and crystals are said to be similar to each other but their main difference is their orientation. There are some grains that may form in some crystal structures. The crystal usually has a specific form available while grains have the tendency to form in different ways.

There are instances though that those that are referred to as grains are the small crystals. Take note that some of the differences with regards to their meanings may sometimes change depending on what grains and crystals are being talked about. There are certain types of grains and certain crystals that are all different from each other.
