When you already have your own website, you will always want to know more about hits and visits. A visit is known to be the first time that a certain IP address goes to your website for the first time. The hit is known to be a consecutive visit from a certain IP address. Visits will only be counted if there are 30-minute intervals in between the first visit from the next one.
