What is the difference between Eagle and Hawk?

Some people may get confused about the differences between the eagle and hawk, probably because they somewhat look the same from afar. One of their main differences is their wingspan. The eagle will have a longer wingspan of about 8 feet, while the hawk will have a wingspan of about 5 feet.

Eagles will usually hunt for larger prey as compared to hawks. For example, eagles will be hunting for snakes and other birds, while hawks will hunt for gophers, rabbits, and certain insects. People may also wonder if these two birds are dangerous. They will only be dangerous if you are your prey, but most humans will not be harmed as long as these birds are not harmed first.
