References refer to the citation of books and authors and probably pages within the lines of a write-up, article, project, or others. However, bibliography refers to the compilation of the citations and references made in a write-up. The bibliography is always written together, while references are written within the pages as demanded. Bibliographies are cited at a particular section of the book, usually at the end of the material you are writing, this is where all materials or citations borrowed from any already published material are acknowledged. References, on the other hand, are those materials from various sources which you have used while writing your essay or book. References are included directly in the main text either in the form of quotes or texts. They are used to support one's argument or explanation.
