The main difference between cocktails and mocktails is the alcoholic content of the two. Cocktails will have alcohol. Some of them would even come with different types of alcohol that it can make people think differently once they have had a few glasses.

A mocktail will have all of the ingredients that are normally used to make cocktails except for the alcoholic content. Some people would do mocktails to have fun and to give them a sense that they are drinking alcoholic beverages even if they are not. Some of the ingredients that are placed in cocktails and mocktails are fruit juices, syrups, creams, spices, and also some herbs.
