GPRS stands for General Packet Radio Service; it is a 2G technology, and it supports about 114Kbps download speed. It is the slowest standard for wireless communication used in the GSM network. In GPRS, data cannot be sent when on a voice call.

GPRS is much more limited compared to 3G. 3G is a much faster technology than the GPRS. It is the successor of the GSM network. It is a higher generation of wireless data communication. The 3G network allows video calling and streaming a lot easier with a download speed of up 3.1Mbps.
