Rock refers to a style of music that is characterized by a basic drum beat, which is generally 4/4 riffs. It is based on electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, and vocals. Rock is a genre of music. It involves the use of heavy metal. Rock has to do with more instruments.

Rock and opera are known to be two different types of music. There are various artists that may use music as their form of medium to express themselves. Some people prefer rock because they feel that this is easy to appreciate. Some do not like a rock because they feel that it is noisy and sometimes inappropriate.

Opera music is known to be very dramatic. It may come with a lot of librettos and also some musical notes. When people are performing rock music, they are expected to dance but when people are performing opera, they are meant to stay in just one place and sing their piece without moving around.
