PSP stands for PlayStation Portable. Sony Computer Entertainment develops it. PSP original is a handheld game console. This original version is thicker and bigger than the PSP slim. PSP slim is a newer version of the PSP original. It is less thick, light in weight and smaller. PSP slim can connect to television, which enables a larger display.

PSP slim consumes less power, which helps increase the longevity of the battery. The slim also has a large flash memory capacity than the PSP original. Unlike the PSP original, it is difficult to hack or install software on PSP slim. Sony has made features to prevent the device from being hacked.

The PSP original is known to be the original version of the handheld PSP device. This is known to be a bit bigger and a bit thicker as compared to the PSP slim. Other than that, they do not have a lot of differences. Both can be downloaded with various games or they can also be played with the use of some CDs.

There are some people who have spent a lot of their hours playing their favorite games in the PSP. They have been released a long time ago but there was a time when people wanted to collect the different colors and just play the various games that are available.
