These two are both alcoholic beverages, but they have some differences that people should know. Whiskey is an alcoholic beverage, but unlike beers, they do not have any hops. They are both created from the fermented mash of grain, but the main difference is that beer contains a heart-protecting compound, also known as flavonoids, and this is something that whiskey does not have.

People are urged to drink both in moderation, but if people would need to choose a drink, they are urged to select beer because this is considered to be the “healthier” option even if it is not entirely healthy. Some flavored alcoholic beverages will also have more calories.
