The main significance of the Pentecost is what the Pentecost represents. Pentecost is a time when Christians and the Christian churches celebrate the time when the Holy Spirit came to the Apostles after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. The people celebrate by donning the churches with red and white. This may also include inside the church itself as well as the ministers.

These are the two colors that represent Pentecost. Most of the Christians probably don’t celebrate Pentecost because first it lasts for a long period of time and second they usually celebrate other Christian holidays. The time of the Pentecost is about 7 weeks or about 50 days. However, people do acknowledge it and the churches do as well.
