The E-Ticket and I-Ticket may not ring a bell for some people but this is definitely something that will be familiar to people who live in India or are researching how they can visit India. The E-ticket is the digital form of the ticket that you have ordered. You may receive it electronically and just show it whenever you need to use it.

The I-Ticket means that the tickets that you have ordered will be delivered to you. Take note that the I-Ticket would need to be processed at least two days before the actual date that you need to use it while the E-ticket can immediately become available to you.

Whereas, you don't need to wait for 2 days when opting for E-ticket because you can even print the electronic form on the day you are traveling, but you would need to go with your identity card. The cost for I-ticket is higher than that of E-ticket.
