JD ad LLB are actually types of law degrees that you can choose to take if you are a law student. LLB stands for Legum Baccalaureus. This is an undergraduate degree that students can take the moment that they reach the age of 18. Those who take this would still need to take further studies so that they can possibly become lawyers in the future. JD is known to be a post-graduate degree.

This can only be taken by people after they have finished a 3-year degree. It will help if people would know where they would take these courses as this can affect the quality of education that they can get.

J.D and LLB are two awards given to law students after a successful completion of each program. JD stands for Juris Doctor, and LLB stands for Bachelor of Law. Both JD and LLB are given to law students in most countries before they can start practicing law. However, this is not so true with the United States as JD is the only award given to law students for their first degree. The two programs are more or less the same, but the difference is actually where you are getting the award.

One of the notable differences between JD and LLB is that, LLB is an undergraduate course which is offered at the undergraduate level, while JD is offered at the post-graduate level. Law students spend 3 years before they can be given JD professional award, while law students spend 4 years before they can be entitled to LLB award.
