Visa and maestro are both cards that are acceptable and used throughout the whole world. These cards can be used for cashless transactions, whereby you move around with your money ‘in a card’ without even having anything in your pocket to make payment. In most organizations, shops, mall, websites, etc., the visa is more acceptable than the maestro. The visa card is more acceptable internationally than the maestro card. The visa cards offer more protection than the maestro card.

Visa and Maestro are two different cards. Out of the two, VIsa is considered to be the more accepted card probably because it has more international reach. It will help if you have a Visa credit card and you love to travel to different places, and if you have Maestro, you can check the country first if they accept Maestro cards.
