Hypertext and Hyperlink are two terms that work hand in hand, and they are mostly seen, used on the internet. To have a better understanding of what they look like, let's consider this. Hypertext is simply a text or set of words that link to another text. This text or phrase is made in the form of a link to serve as a reference to another web page, that is when the idea of Hyperlink comes in.

For example, you can be writing something to be posted on a web page, and you still want to redirect your readers to another web page that talks about something similar to what you are writing, you can use hypertext and Hyperlink. For easy Comprehension, hypertext is like a text written which directs you to a link, while Hyperlink is like weblink you are directed to by the hypertext. Most keywords are used to represent hypertext, whereas Hyperlink uses anchor text.

Hypertext means a text that interface to another text. It is an electronic way of presenting text in such a way that the text will link to another text. Webpage is written in hypertext. While Hyperlink is interfaces that redirect you to another website. They are URL (Universal Resource Locator). Hypertext is also known as a text that takes a user from one webpage to other page through the help of hyperlinks while hyperlinks are the Universal Resource Locator(URL) that hypertext leads you to.

Hypertext is a program that enables the users to design, to store text, and view the electronic version in a non-linear manner while Hyperlink utilizes different root of media other than text. Hypertext is a group of keywords, while Hyperlink is associated with clickables which lead the user to one webpage. Hypertext gives details about the subject of interest when pressed or clicked, whereas Hyperlink directs the user to another webpage entirely when clicked upon.
