Hinduism and Sikhism are both Dharmic religions and the religions are mostly practiced in India. The two religions differ from each other in some ways. Their ways of practicing the religions are different, they use different scriptures, they have different codes and conducts. Hinduism is one of the earliest religions on earth, it was founded in around 10,000 B.C, Sikhism was founded in the 15 century, the religion originated in Punjab and is based on Guru Nanak's writings and teachings. Another notable difference between Hinduism and Sikhism is that, Sikhism frowns at idolatry, it is not part of their religious practice.

The religion strongly believes that God is one and He shouldn't be worshipped alongside other gods. While Hinduism practically encourages idolatry. Hinduism believes strongly in idolatry. The religion practitioners worship gods like Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva, Rama and Krishna. Another difference is how they worship their gods. Siks start their day with meditations till when they are going to bed, while Hindus worship their gods in the temples by offering various kinds of sacrifices to them.
