Hotel and Motel might be serving the same purpose in terms of their usefulness by providing a second house for people especially travelers, but they are certainly not the same. They are different when it comes to their structural and architectural designs. Hotels are constructed in such as a way that it houses hundreds of rooms, there is a large parking space, elevators, staircases are common sight in hotel, but motels generally do not have that kind of gigantic structures which can be seen in hotels. Few rooms are available in motels.

Another difference between the two is that, the size of their workers are different. While there are a good number of workers in hotel, just few workers are employed in motels. Hotels are big places and as such they employ more workers. The kinds of services they offer are different. Hotels offer a lot of services, while motels offer fewer services.
