The field that they specialize in is the treatment of dementia, which may be age-related or disease-related, stroke, epilepsy, and management of neuromuscular pain. One of the areas in which they practice is the management of neuropathic pain, which occurs due to diabetes or WMSD's.

Neurosurgery is a procedure that should be done to people who may be experiencing some issues with their brains and spinal cord. Take note that neuro physicians may know all details about the medications that people need to take to improve the condition of their patients but they are not allowed to do neurosurgery.
