Alice in Wonderlan is regarded as one of the best books ever written because...it is. It is a masterpiece. It is officially acclaimed as being number 18 in the top 100. It is a brilliant novel of nonsense that has a lot of thought and irony behind it. Symbolism is in the mix as well. The book has been the inspiration of sequels and of movies too.

Lewis Carroll, the author, is nothing short of genius in his writing of it. This fine book was the first of many books of the influential era of Victorian English fiction. It's a piece that elightfully combines nonsense with inside joks and connotations. The imagination used to create the story line and develop all of the zany characters is fabulous. It is a storybook for the ages.
