Phobia is an extreme or intense fear of something or situations. Claustrophobia is a fear of an enclosed space or fear of being put into a small place where there is no escape route. One general thing about people with phobias is that, they tend to be afraid of anything or situation that might lead to extreme fear and thereby look for ways to avoid those places or situations.

That is why someone with claustrophobia will never accept to travel by subway or go through elevator because of the fear he has for a small place or an enclosed space. If there is one solution to phobia of whatever kind that will be getting those people with phobias managed their fear.

If they can control their fears, in no time, they will find it very easy to overcome the fear. People with claustrophobia need to learn how to confront their fears on regular basis, they need to learn how to get close to things they are afraid of and not avoiding them
