Etc is the short form of Et Cetera. It is a Latin word, but it can also be used in the English language. It is a word which can be used to show that there are other examples of things you are having on your list. This is mostly used by teachers, especially when they are giving out examples of items. For example, you might be asked to give different examples of foodstuffs, you know.

Etc is the short form of Et Cetera. It is a Latin word, but it can also be used in the English
While you may want to prove your intelligence to your teacher by writing close to 30 examples, a student like you can write five examples and ends it by putting 'etc.' at the end of the fifth examples. That student has been able to communicate to the teacher that, although there are hundreds of examples of foodstuffs but to save himself the stress of writing every single one of them, then he has decided to put 'etc.'

"Et cetera" or etc. is a Latin term which is used by people in the places where they want to say "And other things" or "And so on".Etc is widely used in the English language and it indicates the continuance of a series with similar items.

However, there are other full forms of ETC. Let's take a look:

ETC: Electronic Toll Collection
ETC: Evil Type Correction
ETC: Experiment Test Cycle
ETC: Earth Terrain Camera
ETC: Estimated Time of Completion

The full form of ETC is Et cetera. This is a Latin word that a lot of people use when they want to say that there are other things that can be used. This can also be used as an alternative to, “and so on.” A lot of people use this term but will write it down in its short form which is etc.

The full form of ETC is Et cetera. This is a Latin word that a lot of people use when they want to
There are so many things that people would like to say at times but saying all the things may be enough to distract people so they will be unable to comprehend what you have said anymore. Saying etc. can be effective so that people will also know what they should focus on instead of just looking at the examples.

ETC is an abbreviation for the word “Et Cetera.” It is a phrase in Latin that means “and so forth.” “Et” means “and”; “Cetera” stands for “rest.” The literal meaning of Et Cetera is “and rest.”

ETC is an abbreviation for the word “Et Cetera.” It is a phrase in Latin that means
This phrase has been adopted into the English language, and in most cases, it is used as, etc. It is used to refer to the continuation of similar or collective things. We use it when we do not want to mention more similar items in the description. Example in a sentence: “The colors of the rainbow include: Red, orange, yellow, blue, etc.”.

Etc is the abbreviation for Et Cetera. It is a Latin word, but it is generally written as etc. There are a lot of people who just use acronyms without knowing what their full form are. Et Cetera is an expression which is widely used by people today. Have you ever had a long list of things or items to mention in your writing but you got tired along the way.

etc is the abbreviation for Et Cetera. It is a Latin word, but it is generally written as etc.
That's understandable but to save yourself the stress, you can simply put the acronym 'etc' at the end of the tenth item. Etc is used to keep a sentence as short as possible especially when you have a long list of items to write. For instance, example of farm tools are cutlass, hoe, spade etc. The acronym is useful because it saves time. Etc is usually used at the end of a sentence. And you can use it both in formal or informal writing.

The full form of ETC is actually Et Cetera. This is a Latin word which means “and other things.” This is also how we use the word etc. For instance, we may want to say a few of the ingredients that will be used to bake a cake but it has already been discussed earlier. You can say a few of the ingredients again and say etc.

The full form of ETC is actually Et Cetera. This is a Latin word which means “and other
This will mean all of the other ingredients that you have stated earlier that you do not need to say anymore now. This can also be used for other stuff for sure that you do not need to state again especially if you have already mentioned those things earlier.

Et cetera is the full form of ETC. Et cetera is a Latin word which 'means and so on' and 'and other things'. We generally use Etc at the end of a sentence especially when we are making example of some things, the moment we include etc, it means you are referring to other examples that are related to what you are discussing.

Et cetera is the full form of ETC. Et cetera is a Latin word which 'means and so on' and
For example, the following are the examples of stationery; book, pen, pencil, eraser etc, the etc you included means other examples of stationery materials you can think of. It is being used most times to shorten the continuity of a sentence especially when you are listing items.

The word 'Et cetera' has been adopted from Latin to English and it's short form is etc. Also, etc is used when you have more similar items in series or list and you don’t want to mention everything, then you can use the word ETC.
