It is good to point out that lawyers do not earn the same money as their monthly salary. Some are highly paid while others are being underpaid. This actually depends on so many reasons, reasons like the city you are practicing your profession, the type of lawyer you are and many others.
A criminal defense attorney earns nothing less than $9,950 as his monthly salary, a public defender earns $5,000 per month, and a district attorney earns nothing less than $6,100 as his monthly salary.

Also, a real estate attorney earns $11,000 per month, a corporate attorney earns $8,500 per month. What a lawyer will earn in a year largely depends on the size, location and financial condition of the employer.
