Human brain transplant may never be possible because the coordinating ability of the brain concerning some functions it does is specified to individuals. For example, the immune system which also has antigens inside it protects human body from bacteria and virus.

The antigens are specified to individuals, so if there is human brain transplant, the immune cells produced by the new brain might see those antigens as foreign bodies and therefore starts attacking them.
