Julian Assange is believed to be the founder of wikileaks. Wikileaks is a whistle-blowing, secret revealing organization founded to be releasing classified information and news of things that are hidden from the public but can be harmful to their existence. Julian Assange was born on 3 July, 1971, he grew up to be a computer programmer and a journalist. Julian Assange is truly an advocate for transparency and accountability.

He has been called a hero and a reformer due to his frequent effort at revealing shady deeds and professional misconduct of people especially those in power. He gained international recognition in 2010 after he released a list of leaks given by Chelsea Manning. He has leaked over 10 million information so far since the creation of the organization in 2006. He is also known for revealing war crimes, he has many times revealed footages and information about US military misconduct during foreign missions
