Is it possible to edit the genome of babies and create enhanced individuals?

It is definitely possible to edit the genome of babies. In fact, one Chinese scientist claims he did so and that the result was twin girls. But, that is not proven. It is probably true though. It is possible to edit the genome in animals so why not in humans? Is it a good idea? In some ways, yes. Why not have everyone be healthy, smart and beautiful? Would they all be Chinese? Giving the power to humans to genetically make choices for other humans is frightening because we cannot trust humans not to do this without a motive and self gain in mind.

A country could be planning to take over the world in their genoming of babies. They could make all babies to be very strong and overpowering. There is no telling what this practice could lead to, good or bad. Is it possible? Yes. Is it probable? Yes, indeed.
