ISIS is the abreviation for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria and is also called simply the Islamic State. ISIS contributes to the Islamic state by helping fund and support the cause. Islamicphobia is the fear of such ISIS practices like terrorism that is practiced by them. But, when people are fearful of such a thing and such people, it can get out of hand. They can associate innocent people with such terroristic acts and therefore become prejudiced against them. That is not right because not every person from such areas like Iran are terrorists.

When one gets on a plane and there is a foreign person who might have the same look or use the same language as a terrorist and the person is immediately terrified, that is how Islam based phobia can become widespread. It is much like what happened concerning the Japanese during the Second World War. What can be done about it? Education is needed and more awareness. That will help immensely.
