Which are the most overrated travel destinations?

Even though any vacation spot would be great, there are some destinations that have become overrated. This means that people rave about these places, but they turn out to be not as great. They have probably become so commercialized that they have lost their appeal. Some of these places include probably Hawaii. When I was little, everyone wanted to go to Hawaii because it was the closest tropical island you could visit from the United States that didn’t require a passport.

However, Hawaii isn’t all it is cracked up to be. It is extremely crowded and expensive. Unless you are very rich, you may not be able to afford everything you want on your vacation. Also, it probably rains a lot in Hawaii.
