Although eggs are high in cholesterol and in the past have been associated with risk of heart disease, in general eggs are good for you and eating eggs regularly for breakfast is not a bad idea. For one, they are rich in protein as well as vital nutrients and many vitamins. They also contain vitamin A which can help reduce the growth of cataracts ad macular degeneration and thus improve eyesight. The abundance of nutrients in the egg makes sense, since the biological purpose of the egg is to provide the nutrients for an embryo to grow into a baby chick.
Eggs ae also a filling meal and those who eat eggs usually don’t feel the need to have multiple snacks through out the day to stay full. An egg breakfast can help with weight loss as a result. Eggs can also help get rid of bad cholesterol and increase good cholesterol.
